Paneer dishes tastes so good with chapathis/ rotis. Some of the paneer dishes are very popular like especially paneer butter masala, paneer peas masala, paneer makhani etc. I have posted all these already in blog so while thinking about new recipes thought to try some dhaba recipes.
So, this is the recipe which i tried out immediately.Home made fresh paneer is nice to try gravies, which also gives a nice taste but i used store bought ricotta cheese. This hot gravy tastes good with roti. Try it next time and serve hot with a lemon wedge.

Butter -2-4 tablespoon
Onions-1 medium size
Ginger garlic paste-1/2 teaspoon
Tomatoes-2 medium size
Turmeric powder -1/2 teaspoon
Red chili powder-1-2 teaspoon
Corn flour-1/2 tablespoon
Chickpea flour-1 tablespoon
Paneer/ ricotta cheese-100 grams
Salt- to taste
Coriander powder-1/2 teaspoon
Cumin powder-1/2 teaspoon
Kasoorimethi powder-1/2 teaspoon
Coriander leaves-few
Whole garam masala ingredients
cardamom powder-1
cinnamon stick-2 " inch stick
red chili-1
shahijeera-1 teaspoon
Heat a nonstick pan, add in whole garam masala ingredients. Then add butter and saute for half minute on low heat.
Now add finely chopped onions, ginger garlic paste mix well and cook for 2 minutes on low flame.
Then add finely chopped tomatoes, mix well and cook for 2 minutes. Then add turmeric powder and mix well.
Now in a mixing bowl, take red chili powder, corn flour, chickpea flour and add water. Make it like a fine mixture without any lumps.
Add this mixture, stir gently then add 2 cups of water. Cook this in medium flame for 10 minutes.
Add chopped paneer pieces, salt and stir gently.After 2 minutes add coriander powder, cumin powder, kasoorimethi powder and stir well.
Now add fresh coriander leaves, butter slice and turn off. Serve hot with chapathi or naan.
