Shahi Paneer/paneer in cashew gravy/ricotta cheese kaju gravy

I love paneer..but, paneer is a very heavy calorie food.still, taking some times is n`t wrong..generally,  paneer gravy dishes with with rotis and parathas......
so,this cashew paneer takes first place in my favorite list.......it is very rich in taste...try this once and let me know guys...........


Ingredients

paneer-1packet--250 grams/cubed into square shapes
cashew-1/2 cup
onions-2 small
tomato-3 big
ginger garlic paste(GGP)-1 tsp
red chilli powder-2 tsps
salt-to taste
garam masala-1 tsp
coriander powder-1 tsp
full cream milk-1 cup
oil-3 tbsps
cilantro few leaves
cumin seeds-1 tsp

Preparation

in a pan fry the paneer cubes with a tbsp of oil lightly......

soak the cashew in milk for at least 15-20 minutes....and grind into a smooth paste......

chop tomatoes and make into a fine puree........

heat 2 tbsp oil in kadai and add in cumin.........

add chopped onions and fry til light brown.......and GGP too and fry this for 1 more minute.....

now add in tomato puree and salt and let it boil til oil floats on top.......

add in coriander powder and chilli powder too and mix well.....

now the main key of the dish -add in cashew paste along with a cup of water and let it boil on a very low flame til oil separates on top...........

adjust the water level for gravy according to your taste.......stir in between to avoid burning from bottom......

add in fried paneer cubes and mix well and cook for 5 more minutes......

off the flame and garnish with some cilantro........

serve hot with biryanis,pulavs, rotis and chapathis................
