GREEN GRAM SPROUTS COCONUT GRAVY/HEALTHY ONE

This is one of the best tasty and healthy gravy of sprouts........I promise you all that this is a really yummy one..please just for once try this and iam sure you guys will enjoy the gravy. Here it goes.......

Ingredients

sprouted green grams-2cups
finely chopped onion-1
garlic pods-4
turmeric-1/2tsp
chilli powder-2tsps
cumin-1tsp
salt-to taste
fresh coconut powder-1cup
jaggery-1tsp
tamarind paste-1tsp
mustard-1/2tsp
cilantro leaves-few
hing-1 pinch
oil-2tbsps

Preparation

Mix coconut powder,cumin,garlic pods in a mixy jar and grind into a fine paste by adding 1/2cup of water........

In cooking pan heat oil and add in mustard and hing.......

add in onions and fry til translucent........

now add in green grams and fry for 2 minutes........

add in coconut paste,turmeric,chilli powder,salt and 1 cup of water......

cook this in med flame for 5-7 minutes or til it becomes dry.......

garnish with cilantro and serve with rotis or chapathis........

NOTE

Wash well the green gram for at least 3-4 times.........
dont boil it for very long time........
you can do this in the same way with any other sprouts too.
but the green gram gives the best taste......
