PANEER PEAS MASALA | MUTTER PANEER MASALA | RESTAURANT STYLE PANEER GRAVY RECIPES


Paneer is very high in calories.....Every time Iam trying to avoid using paneer but can`t.....recently cooked this with paneer peas masala gravy using tomato paste.. this goes best with rotis......For rich taste I added butter and cream too.......I hope you guys like my recipe.....let me know friends.......
With same recipe you can cook tofu peas masala.Just replace paneer with tofu and enjoy low calorie dish with some hot roti.I have posted tofu peas curry step wise cooking pictures collage below.





Ingredients

paneer-200gms/1packet (ricotta cheese)
frozen peas-1 cup
tomato-3 big or store bought puree 1 cup
whipping cream-4 tsps
oil-2 tbsps
chilli powder-2 tsps
green chilli-4-5 (optional)
salt-to taste
sugar-1 tsp
garam masala-1 tsp
coriander powder-1 tsp
cumin-1 tsp
turmeric powder-1/2 tsp
ginger garlic paste-1 tsp
cilantro leaves chopped-3 tsps
butter-2 tsps


Preparation

Chop the paneer into cubes. If you like just shallow fry in oil...Other wise boil in water by adding little salt and turmeric til they soft and drain paneer.......(I always goes this method)


Boil peas and keep aside too.....

Heat oil in a kadai.....add in cumin, GGP,tamarind paste(if use),chopped chillies, and tomatoes chopped......

Add in turmeric,coriander powder,cream,sugar,salt and mix once.....Cook this in low flame til tomatoes turns mushy.......

Add in boiled paneer cubes and peas..add in enough water..(around 1-1/2cups)

Finally add in cilantro and butter and off the flame............

Serve hot with rotis or rice...........
