CARROT SOOJI COCONUT LADDU/CARROT RAVA KOBBARI LADDU/EASY DEEPAVALI SWEETS/NO GHEE LADDU RECIPES

 Iam seeing all kind of yummy and delicious recipes in blog world from last few days..While checking out the  blog in the afternoon found this post in draft and already I noted down Ingredients and measurements.Thank god..I Just left the writing part,other wise,It may difficult to remember all..Those who are not ready with diwali goodies and health conscious people can go with this Laddu recipe.It`s a combination of carrot,coconut and sooji..Instead of ghee I added milk to shape the laddus..And the shelf life of laddu is less,better to keep them in fridge.You can increase or decrease the measurements of carrot,rava and coconut in this recipe.Then you must concentrate on sugar too..Well,adding sugar is depend on your taste.If you are sweet tooth then you can follow this recipe as it is,other wise use less sugar.. .Now,to the recipe..

WHAT YOU NEED

Carrot grated-1 cup
sooji/semolina/rava-3/4 cup
coconut powder/dessicated-1/2 cup
sugar-2 cups
boiled milk-as needed to make laddus(few spns)
ghee-2-3 tbsps
cardamom powder-1 tsp
caju/cashew-5-6
raisins-10


HOW TO MAKE

Cut the cashew into small pieces.Heat a thick bottomed pan n add ghee in it..Fry dry fruits n nuts and take them into a plate..

In the same pan fry carrot for 3-4 minutes in high flame by stirring every minute and remove..

Add a tbsp ghee and roast rava/sooji until it changes into light brown colour and remove..

Finally if the pan looks dry add 1 more tbsp ghee and roast coconut powder and off flame..

In  a big besan/bowl mix all roasted n fried above items one by one..i.e., rava+carrot+coconut powder+cashews+raisins and cardamom powder+ sugar....

Mix every thing well with hands..Now heat milk once again (just warm up) then start making laddus by using milk...

Be careful while adding milk and finally top them with some raisins If you like..
