paneer butter masala is one of the most popular dish of punjabi which a very good combination for roti,naan and plenty of paneer recipes are famous in Indian cuisine like palak paneer,kadai paneer,paneer 65 etc. this dish also similiar to paneer butter masala with slight difference.
The near perfect combination of spiciness and creaminess of its gravy makes it simply irresistible.cooking bell pepper along with onion and tomato is the main step in the recipe which gives a gravy to the dish,also saves time..you can serve it with tandoori roti, naan and paneer kulcha or with steamed rice, it’s going to satisfy your palate like never before. Easy Paneer Recipes 










CATEGORY- vegetarian/gravy/south indian/side dish for roti
PREPARATION TIME- 15 MINUTES
COOKING TIME- 15-20 MINUTES



WHAT YOU NEED


1oo grams Paneer/ricotta cheese cubed

1 Big red bell pepper

1 onion medium
2 tomatoes medium (I used store bought puree)
1 tsp ginger garlic paste
3 -4 green chili
1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder
1 teaspoon red chili powder
salt to taste
1 teaspoon coriander Powder
1/2 tsp cumin seed Powder
1/2 tsp garam masala
1 teaspoon kasuri Methi
2-3 tbsp curd/yogurt or cream

1 tablespoon oil

2 tablespoon butter
cumin seeds-1 tsp
1 green cardamom pod
1 inch cinnamon stick
1 tsp fennel seeds
2 tablespoon chopped cilantro leaves




HOW TO COOK


Cut the paneer into one inch sized pieces. Wash and dice capsicums and tomatoes into one inch sized pieces. Peel, wash and dice onions into one inch sized pieces.Dip the paneer in hot water,boil for 10 minutes or till they become soft.



Heat oil in a heavy bottom pan on high flame, add oil,throw fennel seeds, cardamom, cinnamon stick,saute for a half minute and add in diced onions,GGP,green chili then stir fry it for 2 minutes.Now add capsicums, tomatoes and sauté it on medium heat till all the vegetables become slightly soft (about 2-3 minutes). now grind this into coarse puree after few minutes.

Now heat on a non stick pan with butter,cracle cumin..fold in ground masala puree and saute for 2-3 minutes.Add in turmeric powder, red chili powder, jeera,coriander powder, garam masala,kasuri methi and salt. Mix well .. Next, add cubed Paneer and curd, mix well and cook it for 1o minutes in low flame.turn off,,throw some cilantro leaves,pour in cream if you like,mix and serve hot with roti.naan,paratha.
