Spinach Butter Rice | Palak Rice | Palak Recipes | Rice Recipes For Lunch | Left Over Rice Recipes

Palak rice is one of the finest rice variety which is tasty and healthy. If you have left over rice can ty this different versions instead of having it directly. This rice is easy to make and really delicious because of adding butter. Ingredients which I have added here, are as per my choice so adding other ingredients or avoiding some is totally depended on you..
But butter is the must one to use so don`t skip that with oil.
For children, particularly to those who do not like palak dishes  or spinach rice, would be a good choice to make as it is tasty and nutritious and because palak will be in ground form.Cucumber raita or onion raita are some of the options as side dishes for this pakak butter rice.

WHAT YOU NEED
Spinach-1 bunch
 Butter-2 table spoons
Cumin seeds-1 tea spoon
mustard seeds-1 tea spoon
ginger garlic paste -1 tea spoon
chillies-5
onions -1 small
red chili powder-1/2 tea spoon
salt-to taste
turmeric powder-1/2 tea spoon
garam masala -1/2 tea spoon
kasoori methi powder-1/2 tea spoon
roasted cashews -few
HOW TO COOK
Wash and chop spinach..Grind into fine puree.Heat a non stick pan,add butter..Add in cumin seeds, mustard seeds,ginger garlic paste and saute for few seconds..
Then add in chopped chillies,finely chopped onions and saute for a minute.. Then add ground spinach puree,mix once add in red chili powder,salt,turmeric powder,garam masala and mix well..Cook this for 2 minutes in low flame and add rice..Mix well to combine every thing and cook for 5 minutes.Add kasoori methi powder,roasted cashews and turn off after 2 minutes..
