Being an Indian It`s quite normal to tend for snacks and sweets that too for foodies it`s really difficult to stay away. So, I feel it`s better to try the recipes at home instead of buying storebought foods. In snacks, I prefer murukku first so, love to try new versions every time instead of repeating the same old recipes. I have been waiting to make this garlic recipe and finally, last week did it successfully.
Usually, I use storebought flour to make murukku if you want can use homemade flour too. This murukku recipe is really simple to make and tastes crispy. As per the dry red chilli spiciness use the quantity and always fry in medium flame to avoid burning. try this innovative version murukku next time and enjoy with hot tea.

PREPARATION TIME- 15 MINUTES
COOKING TIME-30 MINUTES
WHAT YOU NEED
Rice flour (I used storebought pack) - 2 cups Besan flour - 1/2 cup Softened butter - 1 tbsp Hot oil - 1 teaspoon Salt to taste
Water - as needed to make the dough
Oil (1 litre)-for deep frying To grind: Garlic cloves - 8-10 nos Red chillies - 5 nos Water - 1/2 cup ( to soak and grind)
HOW TO COOK
1.In a mixing bowl, take rice flour, besan flour, add salt, ground paste, butter, hot oil and mix well with fingers. 
2. Then add little water and make a slightly tight dough. Heat a good amount of oil in a deep bottomed kadai.
3. Take small dumpling and place inside murukku maker and press with hands in hot oil. Fry two sides in a medium flame carefully. 4. Once it becomes crispy transfer into a paper towel. Do the same with the remaining dough. 5. Now rice flour garlic murukku is ready to serve.
